	New Smyrna Beach Lodge No 149 achieved its goal of increasing The Lodges charitable donations. Tax year 2021 charitable total was $10,713 and in Tax year 2022 the charitable total increased to $12,703. The Lodge significantly increased the amounts for donations to Scout Troops and active Military Servicemen. The Lodge also increased Scholarships provided to local High School seniors from $3,000 to $8,000 for students who will be attending advanced educational opportunities. As part of maintaining the Lodge building, the Lodge replaced window shades throughout the entire building at a cost of $10,832 and Tile replaced for $1,700.

Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11	The Organization distributes a hard copy to each director and after review, the Treasurer advises the tax preparer of any changes. If changes, they are made and the revised draft is re-distributed to the directors. Once the return is approved by the Board, the Treasurer signs the return and the tax preparer files it. A review audit / examination of the Lodge books was conducted after the close of the calendar year. The Conflict of Interest Policy was documented and signed by all five officers at the beginning of each ones term. All documents are available to the membership and are available to the public upon request.
Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c	The Board distributes the Conflicts of Interest Policy and obtains confirmation by the Board that they have no conflicts that have not been reported to the Board. Throughout the year, the members advise the Board of any potential or actual conflicts which are monitored and disclosed. There were no conflicts reported.
