ON 10/2/2021 THE LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMITTEE HELD THE FINAL THE MID ADLANTIC POLICE AND FIRE SURVIVORS WEEKEND EVENT. TWO MEETINGS WERE HELD ON 10/27/21 AND 09/12/22 TO DECIDE WHO TO DONATE THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THE BANK ACCOUNT. SEVEN DONATIONS WERE MADE TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORTED THE SURVIVORS WEEKEND. THE FINAL AMOUNT WILL BE DONATED TO THE CITY OF NORTH WILDWOOD TOWARDS A POLICE AND FIRE MEMORIAL PARK TO BE BUILT IN THE FUTURE. WHEN THE ORGANIZATION WAS DISBANDED THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, WHO DID ALL OF THE TAX FILINGS, LEFT SO THE FILINGS WERE NEVER DONE DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY ARE BEING FILED AS SOON AS IT WAS REALIZED THAT THEY NEEDED TO BE COMPLETED.
