What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization whose members are dedicated to serving the individual and the community needs with an emphasis on helping people with disabilities.

28 We paid $10000 to increase our total funding of the Dothan Civitan "Earl Butterworth" Endowed Scholarship from $5000 to $15000. The scholarship becomes fully funded at $25000 and candidates will be full-time students from Houston, Dale, and Geneva counties in the state of Alabama who are enrolled on any campus of Troy University. Consideration will first be given to those with a special need and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Second consideration will be given to students who are pursuing a degree with a focus on special needs who must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
