Return Reference	Explanation
Schedule G, Part I, Line 2b	Funds were raised by holding a turkey shoot completion, in which shooters would but a chance to win either food items or cash. There were multiple events held every Saturday in the fall weather permitting, each shoot would consist of 10 or more shooters, they would receive the shell from the Post and shot at a target approximately 25 yards away. The shooter with the closest to the bullseye would win the completion for that round. Normally we would hold 12 - 20 rounds in an afternoon, there would be 1/2 of the rounds that would be for Meat shoots and the rest are for cash prizes.
Schedule G, Part III, Line 9b	We were provided a rifle by Forsyth Classics Armory and we created, purchased tickets and then held a raffle to offer a chance at winning the weapon. Once the raffle was completed the new owner had to go through the background check and transferring the ownership from the member of our Post to the new owner..

Form 990, Part I, Line 1	Our Facility has a canteen (bar) and we have both a canteen manager and canteen staff that serves our members and guest during our business hours. they are compensated for their work, the Canteen Staff person received $ 12.00 per hour, and the Canteen Manager is on a set rate of $ 450.00 per week, his duties include purchasing stock, scheduling the staff and keeping the ongoing books for the canteen along with keeping the canteen clean.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 2	Our Commander Janita Mastin is married to Larry Mastin who is also our Adjutant and Surgeon.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	Our Post has 306 members who have maintained an active membership within the organization for the year of 2022-2023
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	We hold elections to the following positions within our post, Commander, Senior Vice Commander, Junior Vice Commander, Quartermaster, Chaplain, 3 Year Trustee, and 3 year House Committee member. The nominations are started in March, with them closing during our April Meeting and the election held then. At that point we have 4 elected positions that move down, the 3 year Trustee moves to 2 Year trustee, the 2 Year Trustee moves to the 1 year position and the 1 year Trustee is not part of the Trustee positions, this is the same for House Committee Members.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	Any changes to our bylaws, or any new business item that is over $ 250.00 the membership has to approve that item during our regular meeting. Should an emergency occur a special meeting is held and members in attendance will vote in the special item.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	A copy of the completed 990 is posted in the Officer's Office and is available for inspection upon request.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15	The officers that received compensation for their services were reviewed by the House Committee and then put into the Post Bylaws, which were sent via email to all members for review, then they were voted on for approval during one of the monthly post meetings.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	As a Veteran organization we enforce the Post, District, Department and National Bylaws and polices. Our Bylaws at the post level must be approved by our District, Department and National Management teams, once they are approved they are implemented at the Post level.
