What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? WISCONSIN MALAYALEE ASSOCIATION is an organization of people from Kerala residing in Wisconsin to preserve cultural heritage of Kerala and to provide a forum for cultural, social and charitable activities of its members. The Association have the following objectives * To take an active interest in cultural, social and welfare of the members. * To promote friendship and fellowship. * To organize periodic community activities. * To encourage service-minded people to serve the community without any rewards. * To educate future generation about Kerala heritage and culture and to be proud of it. * To aid others (weak and needy in Kerala) whenever possible.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Wisconsin Malayalee Association(Wisma) organized an annual summer picnic in July of 2021. A total of 224 people attended the event. There were fun activities and games conducted for the community. This was a great opportunity for community members to meet and connect with other community members. We hosted a fundraising event and cultural show in September (Onam Celebration). This included traditional feast. Roughly 460 people participated in this event. 100 people participated in putting together the cultural show. We hosted a fundraising event and cultural show in December (Christmas Celebration). This included a cultural program and dinner event. Roughly 325 people participated in this event. 150 people participated in putting together the cultural show. In addition, we organized volunteer activity to prepare and donate sandwiches to Guest House of Milwaukee. we organized 9 such volunteering opportunities.
