Explanation:

The late filing is 100 fault of the CPA engaged to prepare the tax return. The CPA me has been in the hospital for the first 13 days of March 2022 and from September 28, 2022 to December 13, 2022. I was physically and mentally unable to prepare the tax return at any time from March 1, 2022 through September 16, 2023, when I was finally released from therapy. On September 28, 2022, I fell and hit my head, resulting in bleeding from the brain. I had to have two surgeries to stop the blood flow and repair the damage acute subdural hematoma. The operation was life saving. I prepared the tax return as soon as I was able to return to work. Charles C Stumm, CPA
