What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? COMPP is a non-profit member based trade association working together on a cooperative basis to support open, independent, transparent and fully robust wholesale energy, capacity and ancillary services markets in the region operated by the MidContinent Independent Transmission Operator, Inc. (MISO).
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.

30 In December 2022, COMPP filed an intervention in protest to a FERC filing in Docket No. ER23-523-00 where the MISO Transmission Owners proposed to eliminate compensation to independent power producers for their provision of reactive power under MISO's Schedule 2. This proposal would seek to eliminate over $12 million in annual compensation to COMPP membership, violates comparability principles and jeopardizes reliability of the electric grid.
