What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The SAM FOX Association is a Military Veterans Organizations consisting of primarily retired and former members of the 89th Airlift Wing based out of Joint Base Andrews and its predecessor units along with current active duty members to provide an avenue for sharing historical information, lessons learned specifically for challenges and solutions for current VIP military transportation.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The SAM FOX Association members provide crosstalk and mentoring to active duty personnel who currently fly VIP military Airflight for the United States Military. This is accomplished through annual and on call crosstalk as well as a trienniel reunion where former members of the 89th Airlift Wing and its predecessor units gather at Joint Base Andrews for three days with round table discussions and events that enhance performance and esprit de corps of active duty members. The SAM FOX Association also donates money to the 89th Airlift Wing Annual Awards Banquet.

The SAM FOX Association was unaware that the normal paper copy for the 990EZ was not admissible anymore until yesterday (due date - 15 Mar 2023). We notified the IRS via phone call (Ms Edwards - 1000195894 and Ms Fitch - 1000739669) this morning who directed the IRS website and that we needed to submit an e-file with a 3rd party vendor. Moving forward, the SAM FOX Association will e-file as directed by the IRS. Please do not charge us a penalty.
