	The VFW serves veterans and the public. The organization provides fellowship for member of VFW through the use of this social hall, members of the VFW are offered an opportunity to socialize with other members. The public benefits by events such as the Bill Boucher scholarship fund awarded to Monett High School senior based on completion of application, essay and goals that is payable to college or university of their choice. The VFW also provides other services such as funerals, honor flights, and various other donations.
