| Part III response or note to any other line in Part III | Part III - Primary Exempt PurposeTo establish and oversee places of workship, community and seminary centers, conduct the work of fellowship worldwide, create departments necessary to support fellowship activities and to license and oversee Alexander Foundation teachers and to engage in activities which are necessary, suitable or convenient for the accomplishment of that purpose or which are incidental thereto or connected therewith, which are consistent with Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Part III - Line 28. Program Service: HealingAccomplishments:The Healing program servicing our community through massage, healingtouch, medical massage, CST, Connective Tissue Massage and orientaltherapies. The healing therapies are offered year-round, and at a verydiscounted rate so everyone can have access to healing. In 2022 we initiated a new program, the Wilderness Challenge. We held free live classes outdoors on Sundays. Some of the skills that were taught included basic outdoors primitive cooking skills, Fire Starting using Flint and Steel, Planting a Medicinal Herb Garden.Building a temporary shelter. Participants also learned basic blacksmithing skills from a local blacksmith. We have had several experts who specialize in the healing therapies working in the healing program, during 2022. They all are Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT). We have had 703 visits throughout the year, with a total of 298 participants, attending all year.During 2022 we held monthly outdoor healing and meditation events to lift the participants spirits and creative energies. Participants in the meditation and healing events contribute to cover the costs of materials and share a communal picnic. Part III - Line 29. Program Service: Movement ClassesAccomplishments:Open to people of all ages, dividing them into kids and adults classes. Movement classes include and are not limited to Yoga, Martial Arts, Qi Gong, Pilates on the mat, and fitness training. All movement classes are carefully designed to benefit each participant, to improve their health and wellbeing. There are two instructors working as independent contractors who specialize in the movement classes. They are both qualified to teach each specialty. Movement Classes run year-round, 12 months of the year, and most days of the week, except for Sunday, offering participants multiple opportunities to train. Some classes are community based and are offered for free. We have had 44 visits throughout 2022. A total of 21 participants havebenefited from the movement classes offered at Nityananda Center. This iswithout considering online participants who started using the online platformzoom, since it is difficult to quantify as it is open to anyone, anywhere in theworld for free. Now that the Covid restrictions have been lifted we enjoy early morning (5AM) Health and Fitness group sessions in the park 3 days per week. We also host live movement classes for kids and adults at our new location, every day of the week. Many of the classes continue to be online because of the distance and ease for participants in other states as of today. Since the pandemic has affected many people in our community financially, all online classes are given free of charge. This is due toour quantifying system would counting participants as owing payment forclasses. Since these have been offered free of charge, we have not enteredthem in the system.Private visits have totaled 263 visits, with some participants benefiting fromprivate instruction all year.
