Several years ago, the Board adopted a National Rural Electric Cooperative (NRECA) "Wage & Salary Plan" that is currently utilized in determining compensation for all employees of the Cooperative. An NRECA consultant visited the Cooperative to interview each employee with regards to duties and responsibilities. Each position in the Cooperative was assigned a pay grade with a set of pay ranges. Each year, the General Manager submits a proposed "Wage & Salary Plan" based on the NRECA model described above), including any "market shift" data, to the Board for its approval. In 2014, another NRECA consultant visited the Cooperative and reviewed and revised the Plan, which the Board approved and adopted. |
