What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The CFA Society Stamford was incorporated in 1998 as a non-profit organization to serve the financial community and our CFA Charterholder members.We are a local chapter that is affiliated with the CFA Institute and share a common goal to promote the highest standards of ethics education and professional excellence. We offer high quality programs on topics that provide opportunities for our members and extended community to expand their knowledge professional development and network with others in our industry.

Part III, Line 28 | Explanation:| CFA Society Stamford 2023 Forecast Dinner was held on March 16th 2023. This is the Society's premier networking event of the year bringing together leading investment and financial professionals in Westchester and Fairfield Counties. We were honored to have Michael Arone CFA Chief Investment Strategist State Street Global Advisors SPDR as the evening's keynote speaker sharing his insights on the current economy markets and investing. One-hundred-fifty people attended the event. The event is an extension of our mission to bring education and excellence to our members and the local finance community.
Part III, Line 29 | Explanation:| Our holiday party and new charterholder celebration was held on December 15th 2022 at Rockrimmon Country Club. Fifty-two people attended the holiday party and graduation event. The event is held each year as a networking evening for our members and to welcome new charterholders into our professional society and to recognize their professional achievement.
Part III, Line 30 | Explanation:| Our annual meeting was held on June 15th 2023. It's main purpose is to announce the election of the incoming Board for CFA Society Stamford. It also had an educational component with Rob Langrick CFA Senior Head CFA Program who discussed the most recent updates to the CFA Program. Fifty-nine people attended.
