Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The PA Alliance Action seeks to advocate at the state level for democracy reform through grassroots activities and support of like-minded organizations on behalf of and in support of all Pennsylvanians, in particular historically marginalized and underserved communities, including communities of color, impoverished communities and the young.
2
Did the organization undertake any significant program services during the year which were not listed on
the prior Form 990 or 990-EZ? .....................
If "Yes," describe these new services on Schedule O.
3
Did the organization cease conducting, or make significant changes in how it conducts, any program

4a (Code:   ) (Expenses $ 2,500,000 including grants of $ 2,500,000 ) (Revenue $ 0 )
Democracy Defenders was a program ran in the first quarter of 2022 that lifted up elected officials in Pennsylvania who previously defended our democracy against attacks and preserved Pennsylvanian's right to vote. This program included direct mail, digital advertisements and television advertisements as well as direct voter contact through door to door canvassing.
4b (Code:   ) (Expenses $ 1,670,000 including grants of $ 1,670,000 ) (Revenue $ 0 )
In 2019, the bipartisan bill, Act 77, was passed, allowing for no-excuse absentee voting in Pennsylvania, which has greatly expanded access to the ballot. PA Alliance Action supported recruitment, chase and education of voters to vote-by-mail through communication and direct voter contact programs in 2022. This program specifically set out to educate low propensity voters and voters of color across the Commonwealth.
4c (Code:   ) (Expenses $ 2,969,000 including grants of $ 2,969,000 ) (Revenue $ 0 )
PA Alliance Action sought to support the capacity and programmatic goal of numerous partner organizations across Pennsylvania for the 2022 general election cycle. Beginning in June, considerable funding was granted to thirteen different grassroots organizations to talk to voters about what was at stake on the ballot. Millions of doors were knocked across the entire Commonwealth thanks to this program.
