What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Sustainable Michigan Fund's purpose is to advocate for and educate the public and the legislature about matters, including ballot proposals, laws, and proposed legislation, that benefit the public health and welfare and to bring about positive change in Michigan's environmental agenda.

Explanation:
This filing is late due to limited staff capacity. The Action Fund's President and Campaign Manager left the organization in August 2022. In December 2022, the Michigan Environmental Council's Operation's Director left his position, it would have been the responsibility of either individual to submit this report. Neither individual has been replaced by a new staff member. This task of filing this report slipped through the cracks until it was discovered by the Michigan Environmental Council's Auditors.
