	System Safety Society provides publications for members to disseminate newly developed knowledge & to promote system safety to all levels of management, engineering & other professional groups in the application of systems engineering & systems management to the process of hazard, safety & risk analysis to identify, assess & control associated hazards while designing or modifying systems, products, or services & continuing through to development, fabrication, testing, production & ultimate disposal.

	System Safety Society conducts an annual conference to promote system safety to all levels of management, engineering & other professional groups; to foster communications within the system safety profession & with other scientific, legal, public & professional groups; & to encourage research into the development & application of new safety management, scientific & engineering techniques. The annual conference also promotes system safety professional development & education & advances the state-of-the-art in system safety. The 2022 conference had over 140 attendees over 5 days with multiple sessions each day.
