What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To gain information regarding the activities of utility service companies, particularly as same affects rates of customers; to keep apprised of impending changes regarding expected rates and other matters regarding utility companies; to see ways to reduce costs; to share mutually beneficial information regarding efforts to reduce costs; and for all of these purposes to serve the purpose of education of the members of the corporation in those regards.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Associated Valley Industries has 45 paying member organizations and actively represents Tennessee Valley Industries in Energy and Utility issues, helping to improve policies and rates to encourage industrial growth.
