What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To provide and promote an inclusive social environment, foster informational programs, enhance community relationships, and support charitable works.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Rarity Bay Women's Club served 388 members in 2023. Weekly newsletters were sent to members and monthly informational meetings were held for members. Topics for 2023 focused on the state of Tennessee. Notable speakers were from the Oakridge Museum of Science and Energy, the National Story Telling Festival ( from Jonesborough, TN), and Jill Holder spoke about the film making industry in East Tennessee. Social activities were held such as Birthday Bash, Lunch Bunch and Learning Labs. The club served the community by holding several fundraising events in support of local organizations. Vonore Middle School Band received $512.5; they serve 294 students. Isaiah 117 House received $8122.17; they serve 1000s of children by providing physical and emotional support, or resources, in a safe and loving home for children awaiting placement in the foster care system. Monroe County Friends of Animals received $8122.17, and they provide for 100s of homeless and abandoned cats and dogs in Monroe County. The American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State (ALAVGS) received $637.50. The ALAVGS empowers promising young women to become and remain civically engaged leaders; to date, they have served 1000s of young women. The Rarity Bay First Responders received $3726.58, and they serve approx. 600 residents, providing basic life support care until other EMS personnel arrive.
