Return Reference Explanation
Other Form 990EZ, Part III, Line 28 First Accomplishment - Raising funds in order to award scholarships to young people wishing to further their education. We a re able to present 5 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each.
Other We Support our veterans through donations and recognize them for their service. In 2023, we donated to the Durham VA and to Veterans Bridge. In addition to this, we gave toys to the VFW and made a monetary donation.
Other The club placed flags on veteran's graves in the Oak Grove cemetary on holidays. We also hosted a dinner for local veterans on November 14, 2023.
Other We supported our community through special projects such as: Providing gift bags containing fresh fruit and gift cards to widow & elderly people in the Redwood Community.
Other We donate to the Redwood Fire Department, First Baptist Church for their food pantry ministry, to the Durham Emergency Chaplain Group. We also able to support brain tumor research with the Duke Tumorators and military families with donations to Camp Corral.
