The North Dakota Right to Life Association engaged Eide Bailly LLP to electronically file the Form 990-EZ for the year ended September 30, 2022. Eide Bailly attempted to electronically file the Form 990-EZ and received a rejection on August 15, 2023 indicating that the tax period ending date must match data in the e-file database. The North Dakota Right to Life Association then signed and mailed a copy of the Form 990-EZ. Subsequently the North Dakota Right to Life Association has received an IRS notice advising that the paper copy will not be accepted and that the Form 990-EZ will need to be e-filed. On March 18, 2024 Donna Magrum, Treasurer, contacted the IRS, spoke with revenue agent Ms. Durgen ID: 1000571229, and requested that the database be updated to reflect the correct period and allow for e-filing of the Form 990-EZ for the year ended September 30, 2022. The Form 990-EZ was again attempted to be electronically filed with the IRS on Mach 19, 2024. Due to the above reasonable cause and attempts to timely file the return we respectfully request that you accept this copy of the return as filed and do not assess any penalties for filing late.
