The Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill (BIL) enacted in November 2021 requires that all new vehicles be equipped with alcohol detection technology like DADSS beginning by the close of the current decade. Development of the DADSS technology continues to progress such that one or both DADSS technologies will be available as a compliance option for any safety standard issued to implement BIL's requirements. |
