What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Post's exempt purpose is supporting veterans in any way we can. We currently have 90 active members. Our Post holds monthly meetings for all members to attend that include guest speakers covering an array of topics that may be of interest to former military. These meetings are also available via ZOOM for those members that are unable to attend in person. Our post performs at memorial services for recently deceased veterans, memorial day programming and service projects to aid in services provided to veterans in our area.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 We place flags on all veteran gravesites for Memorial Day and hold a program celebrating all veterans on Memorial Day. We support both financially and with volunteer hours the annual Lockdown held in the Madison area. We financially support many local organizations whose primary goal is supporting our veterans.
