What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The QCLA promotes tourism by promoting the Quad Cities as a destination that benefits travelers and the community. The QCLA works closely with the local Convention & Visitors Bureau to determine which groups and events would benefit the local community.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Donated $10,000 to an organization to that supports our organization- John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity; $707 in quickbook fees; Internship for local college student to learn more about local hotels and update website $1,500; Gave $5,000 to our local chamber of commerce Visit Quad Cities to bring business to the area to generate revenues for the hotels in the organization; $1,500 paid to Certified Tourism Ambassadors to allow the members of organization to send people to this class to be able to better promote the Quad Cities to continue to drive business to the hotels.
