1 WE ESTABLISHED A WEEK-LONG SONGWRITER RESIDENCY WITH THE INITIAL TEST GROUP IN JULY. THREE PROFESSIONAL SONGWRITERS WERE GRANTED A WEEK AT BLUE ROCK AND RECEIVED A TAXABLE STIPEND TO COVER TRAVEL AND LIVING EXPENSES. AT THE CONCLUSION, THE STUDIO HOSTED A CONCERT OF THEIR NEW WORK FOR THE COMMUNITY. THIS CONCERT WAS ALSO STREAMED LIVE OVER YOUTUBE WITH DONATIONS TAKEN FOR THE PERFORMERS.
