James Dodds All these officers have a salary of zero because the Foundation basically never existed. I intended to file a Public Charity but checked a box wrong on the form and accidentally formed a Private Foundation. I discovered the error immediately and so did not proceed with the Foundation. It never a bank account or took in any money it did no business whatsoever. I filed for dissolution used the wrong form and the IRS just got back to me about how to property do it. So the point of this tax filing is to legally dissolve the corporation. I have since formed the proper private foundation under a slightly different name. Apologies.

A lot of mistakes here. I intended to form a Public Charity but formed this private foundation by mistake. So I filed with the IRS to dissolve it but I filed the wrong form which the IRS informed me of by phone and told me to file a 990PF to dissolve. It took over year for them to get back to me. Thinking the Foundation would be soon dissolved I didn't make any tax filings. I have informed the Secretary of State of Iowa of the dissolution and will send them this 990PF. I discovered my error immediately and so this Foundation never really existed. We didn't conduct any business or hold any meetings or open a bank account or collect any money. I have since filed to create a proper Public Charity which we have been using. Apologies.
