	Advocacy efforts will include inviting people to use the organization's online tool to contact their elected representatives and will be conducted virtually by organization staff and partners. In addition, the organization will provide advocacy and educational materials to supporters and the general public through emails, social media posts, public letters of support from celebrity supporters, and petitions for members of the public to sign in support of the organization's goals. Currently, the organization's present and planned activities have focused on advocating for the American Rescue Plan and for the For the People Act. Similar activities may be undertaken for other legislative actions in the other issue areas listed above. The organization is also planning to facilitate a John Lewis Voting Rights Act Day of Action, which will focus on promoting voting rights legislation. The details of this day of action are currently in development.
