What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? VFW Auxiliary's purpose is to improve the lives of veterans, service members and their families, and our communities. Our programs are designed to bring needed services, information and assistance to these target groups.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The object of this organization shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable and educational; to assist the Posts and members thereof of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and its own members whenever possible; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America and fidelity to its Constitution and Laws; to foster true patriotism, to maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom and equal rights and justice to all men and women; to preserve and defend the United States of America from all her enemies. We actively participate in many programs, such as Americanism, Buddy Poppy, National Home, Camp Trotter, Youth Activities, Scholarships, Cancer, Hospital, Legislative, Community Outreach, Veterans and Family Support, etc...
