Part X, Line 2:	The Plan is considered exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Plan and the trust are required to operate in conformity with the Internal Revenue Code to maintain the tax-exempt status of the trust. Plan management believes that the Plan is being operated in compliance with the applicable requirements of the Internal Revenue Code. Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the Plan and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if the Plan has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the Internal Revenue Service. Based on this review, no reserves for uncertain tax positions were required to have been recorded or disclosed for the years ended December 31, 2023 and 2022. The Plan is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. With few exceptions, management believes the Plan is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years preceding December 31, 2019.

Based on this review, no reserves for uncertain tax positions were required to have been recorded or disclosed for the years ended December 31, 2023 and 2022. The Plan is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. With few exceptions, management believes the Plan is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years preceding December 31, 2019.
