Back in April we submitted a Form 1023 asking to be re classified as a 501C3 as we believe we are. I had asked on that form for the IRS to determine if we were required to file a return as we have been told both yes and no. We were awaiting a response from IRS and just recently received a request for additional information on Sept 25th. We decided to go ahead and get the return filed as likely it will be some time before the determination is made. We ask that you forgive the late return as we are a non profit that provides affordable housing to Sr's and disabled and just do not have the funds to pay any penalties. Thank you
