What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Arizona Christian Education Coalition, an Arizona nonprofit corporation (AzCEC) is a coalition of private Christian schools that exists for the purpose of educating the public, making recommendations to legislative bodies regarding public policy issues related to the education of Arizonas children, and engaging in limited political activism, and intends to operate pursuant to section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 We have hired a lobbyist who has represented us in many discussions with lawmakers, aided school leaders in building relationships with our legislators, and continued to assist us with informing our parents about what is going on in our legislature and how they can be involved in the process. He has also assisted us in building a coalitions of support and dialogue with other groups outside of our membership and has assisted in building the number of schools engaged in our membership.
