What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Extend medical knowledge and advance medical science through various programs and speakers. We provide continuing medical education for our members and the medical providers in the community. The goal is for that to improve competency, patient care and outcomes.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Raleigh County Medical Society provides educational opportunites to the 75 members who are healthcare providers (Doctors, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practioners, Nurses). This is accomplished by bringing in speakers from differnet fields of medicine and providing continuing medical education programs throughout the year. The overall goal is to increase competence of the medical providers in our community to in turn improve performance and patient outcomes.
