Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The organization consists of 280 members who elect a governing body of 7 ( Pres, VP, Treas, Sec. and 3 Trustees). Officers are elected to 4 year terms. 2 Officers/trustees positions are elected each year. No Officer or trustee is compensated. All elected positions are voluntary. The only paid positions are the Manager who handles the day to day operation of the club. All new members must be nominated by an existing member and the Board of Trustees votes to either accept or deny membership.

I am a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bigelow Weavers association and also volunteer as the Treasurer for the last 15 years. I was training someone to replace me last January. While on vacation during the month, he never filed the Form 990 and I never noticed it when I returned. I am asking for an abatement of the late filing penalties as this is the first time we have been late in filing a return. Thank you for your consideration
