The Lab utilizes the LLC to better engage in food storage, processing, and development activities. The Lab's mission is to serve as an incubator and shared kitchen space to grow the local food economy and to promote sustainable food and agriculture practices. The Foundation's equity interest in Fork Food Hub LLC will provide a source of funding for the LLC's and Lab's joint efforts to promote the Hub's overall exempt purposes.
