(the "Corporation") was established as the parent corporation of Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Inc. ("MHSB") and Elkhart General Hospital, Inc. ("EGH") to develop a full spectrum of health-related services for North Central Indiana and Southwestern Michigan. Along with its subsidiaries, the Corporation serves the greater community throughout the continuum of care, from health promotion and sickness prevention to diagnosis, inpatient, outpatient, and home health services. The Corporation controls MHSB, EGH, Community Hospital of Bremen, Three Rivers Health, Beacon Medical Group (BMG), Beacon Health Foundation (BHF) (f/k/a Memorial Health Foundation, Inc. (MHF)), and Beacon Health Ventures, Inc. (BHV), collectively referred to as the "System." Beacon Health Foundation, Inc. (BHF) is a tax-exempt, non-private foundation.
