    THE LATE FILING OF THIS TAX RETURN WAS NOT INTENTIONAL ON OUR PART. IT WAS CAUSED BY A SERIES OF EVENTS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. 1 OUR FIRST FISCAL YEAR ENDED ON JUNE 30, 2022 AND WE DID NOT RECEIVE THE IRS DETERMINATION LETTER FOR 501c3 STATUS UNTIL APRIL 15, 2023, ALMOST A YEAR LATE. 2 WE COULD NOT FIND A CPA WILLING TO PREPARE THE TAX RETURNS FOR THE 6/30/22 OR THE 6/30/23 FISCAL YEARS. WE CONTACTED NUMEROUS CPA FIRMS BETWEEN APRIL 15, 2023 AND DECEMBER 8, 2023 AND NOT ONE OF THEM RETURNED OUR CALLS OR WANTED TO TAKE ON THE JOB. WE FINALLY WENT TO OUR STATE LEGISLATOR WHO HELPED LOCATE A CPA WHO WAS WILLING TO PREPARE THE TAX RETURN. WE HEREBY REQUEST A WAIVER OF LATE FILING PENALTIES. WE TRIED TO COMPLY BUT COULD NOT.
