What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Muslimahs United was founded on Islamic principles of justice, integrity, and commitment to community services. We aim to offer support, grounded in Islamic practice of justice for Muslim Women of color, and all women who are affected by intimate partner violence, hate crimes, Islamophobia Homelessness, and other crimes.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Hidaya Womens Resource and Advocacy project offered support, grounded in Islamic practice of justice for Muslim Women of color, and all women who are affected by intimate partner violence, hate crimes, Islamophobia Homelessness, and other crimes. HWRAP educated, supported, and guided survivors and their children who are affected by intimate partner violence to self-determination by offering culturally specific crisis counseling, advocacy, connection to resources, connection to community, and community outreach.
