WE CONDUCT EVENTS TO INFORM MEMBERS OF RELEVENT ISSUES AND WE CONDUCT SOCIAL EVENTS AND MONTHLY MEMBER MEETINGS TO COMMUNICATE ISSUES TO VETERANS. THE CLUB HOSTS EVENTS TO BUILD COMRADARIE WITH OVER 300 CLUB VETERANS RESIDING IN THE COMMUNITY WHICH INCLUDES OVER 5500 HOUSEHOLDS. EVENTS INCLUDE A FORMAL MILITARY BALL GUEST SPEAKERS AND INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS. IN THE PAST YEAR WE HELD A MEMORIAL DAY PICNIC A YARD SALE AND A VIETNAM CEREMONY IN MARCH ALSO WE HONOR AMERICA WITH THE DISPLAY OF OVER 3000 FLAGSTHROUGHTOUT THE COMMUNITY. OUR FLAGS OVER SOLIVITA PROJECT.RAISES FUNDS FOR VARIOUS CHARITIES AND VETERANS ORGANIZTIONS. THESE FLAGS ARE FLOWN DURING VARIOUS TRADITIONAL HOLIDAYS DURING THE YEAR.

	THE ORGANIZATION HAS OVER THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS HAD A PROGRAM CALLED FLAGS OVER SOLIVITA. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES THE RESIDENTS OF SOLIVITA THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLAY A FLAG IN FRONT OF THEIR RESIDENCES DURING THE SIX MAJOR PERIODS OF THE YEAR. THE CLUB MAINTAINS THE FLAGS POLES AND OTHER SUPPLIES NECESSARY FOR MAINTAINING THE FLAGS DURING THE YEAR. DURING THE YEAR RESIDENTS PAY A FEE TO THE CLUB TO HOUSE AND MAINTAIN A FLAG AND THE CLUB DELIVERES AND PLACES THE FLAG AT THE RESIDENCES. . FROM THE PROCEEDS RECEIVED THE CLUB HAS RAISED FUNDS TO BE GIVEN TO VARIOUS OTHER VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY CHARITIES SERVING VETERANS IN POLK AND OSCEOLA COUNTIES. THIS YEAR $50,000 WAS DONATED TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS.

THE BALL ALSO IS A CEREMONY HONORING THE MISSING MAN TABLE. EACH IS A CEREMONY HONORING OUR FELLOW VETERAN LOST IN BATTLE. THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT EACH YEAR. WE MARK THE EVENT WITH OUR HONOR GUARD AND HONORING ALL BRANCHES OF THE SERVICES FOR THE UNITED STATES AND OUR FOREIGN ALLIES.

THIS GROUP HOLDS EVENTS SUCH AS A YARD SALE AND VARIOUS RAFFLES AND USES THE FUNDS TO ASSIT A GROUP OF VETERANS WHO NEED ASSISTANCE DUE TO ILLNESS OR INJURY. THEY HAVE PROVIDED A VETERAN OR A WIDOW OF A VETERAN WITH HELP WHEN REQUESTED. THE GROUP ALSO HAS PURCHASED VARIOUS GAMES PUZZLES,AND SUPPLIES TO BE GIVEN TO VETERANS WHO ARE AT THE VETERANS HOSPITAL IN LAKE NOVA .
