	Two Field Representatives collected milk weights and milk samples from each of 10,600 cows in 40 members' herds,mostly on a monthly interval Each milk sample was analyzed for butterfat, protein content, somatic cell counts, pregnagncy verification, and mastitis species ID, as mem- bers requested. The compiled data was presented to universities for research and sire proving purposes. Both uses of the information beni- fit dairy producers worldwide. The 40 Winona Co. DHIA members used the record information to produce an average of 24,508 pounds of milk, 1,027 pounds of butterfat, and 789 pounds of milk protein per cow during 2023.
