1(a) The mission and purpose of North Country Fiber Fair Inc. is to provide education in all aspects of fiber production fiber arts and marketing as well as expand opportunities for fiber producers and consumers. This is accomplished by hosting the annual North Country Fiber Fair which is free and open to the public. The fair encompasses the following but varies from year to year at the discretion of the board: -- Classes in various fiber arts for which fees are charged normally the largest portion of income and expenses -- Demonstrations in fiber crafts and fiber animal husbandry -- A place for fiber artists to come and do their crafts while associating with like-minded people -- Fiber and food vendors as well as a banquet and style show for which tickets are sold. All funds both generated and expensed are for the sole purpose of hosting and putting on this annual event. The directors on the board donate their time in pursuing this endeavor.
