1	ALTHOUGH THE CLIMATE CHANGE PERMACULTURE PROJECT DID NOT OBTAIN EXTERAL FUNDING DURING 2023, ACTIVITIES IN PURSUIT OF ITS MISSION CONTINUTED.
2	INFRASTRUCTURE WAS PUT IN PLACE. A LAND SURVEY WAS CONDUCTED. DEER FENCING WAS CONSTRUCTED AROUND THE PLOT TO BE USED FOR CCPP PROGRAMMING.
3	CCPP WAS INVITED TO BE PART OF A BETA PILOT PROJECT RUN BY THE SOIL INVENTORY PROJECT (TSIP). UNING THEIR SOIL SAMPLING KIT, BASELINE SOIL SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED IN AND AROUND THE 2 ACRE PLOT TO BE USED FOR PROGAMMING. SAMPLES WERE SENT TO A DESIGNATED LAB TO THE AMOUNT OF CARBON CURRENTLY IN THE SOIL. WITH THIS BASELINE DATA, ANNUAL SOIL TESTING WILL ADD TO RESEARCH ON WHAT PLANTS CAN BEST SEQUESTER CARBON IN THE SOIL.
4	CCPP BECAME A PERMACULTURE INSTITUE OF NORTH AMERICA (PINA) ALLIED ORGANIZATION WHICH WILL ALLOW THE ORGANIZATION TO SUBMIT NEWS ARTICLES AND POST RECRUITMENT NOTICES IN THEIR NEWSLETTER AMONG OTHER BENEFITS.
5	RECRUITMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS IN THE 2023 PERMACULTURE INCUBATOR PROGRAM (PIP) TOOK PLACE IN THE FALL. SOCIAL MEDIA, NEWSLETTERS, THE CCPP WEBSITE, AND TARGETED PERMACULTURE ORGANIZATIONS WERE THE PRIMARY SOURCES FOR OUTREACH.
