	REPRESENTATIONAL MAPE represents its members with respect to all terms and conditions of employment, promotes the welfare of its membership, and works to advance the interests of all governmental employees. Fourteen Business Agents carry out the contract enforcement and employment relations activity on behalf of 17,090 State of Minnesota employees plus 60 employees of cities, counties or school districts. MAPE works with stewards and local leaders to represent members in grievance cases, meet and confer with state agency employers, negotiate settlements and memorandums of understanding, share information at local union meetings and support the legislative, political and or issue campaign work as needed.
