Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The Hackett-Larson Post 163 - The American Legion has members, and Post business is managed at regular Post meetings monthly with majority vote of participating members.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	Our American Legion Post has annual officer elections as defined in the American Legion handbook.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	All regular organization business is managed at regular monthly Post meetings with majority vote of participating members. The Post Executive Board is empowered to manage the organization business and finances, and deal with escalations from regular Post meetings.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	The Post annual 990 form is reviewed at a regular meeting and the latest annual filing and policies are posted in the Post office. Additionally, all annual filings and procedures are available at a regular monthly meeting.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15	Monthly salaries are provided by policy for three officers - Commander, Adjutant, and Finance Officer due to the time commitment of the positions. This policy has been in place for many years, and re-affirmed every year following elections, with the most recent affirmation happening following the election in September 2022.
