What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? ACSS's purpose is to effectively advocate for and represent California state supervisors, managers and other excluded employees.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 ACSS's purpose is to effectively advocate for and represent California state supervisors, managers and other excluded employees. Chapter 503 serves approximately 4,800 of the total 11,000 members organization wide on a local level. Each Chapter has unique needs due to their demographics, geographic territory, and departments serviced. Chapter meetings are held so excluded employees can network with their peers, discuss job-related issues, ask questions and get answers from their local Labor Relations Representative, vote on the Chapter budget, get exclusive news related to the issues that are important to excluded employees.

Explanation:
In prior years, ACSS Chapter 503's income was less than $50K. This was the first year that I was unable to file a 990-N. I prepared a 990-EZ and mailed the filing. I just received an IRS letter notifying me that a paper filing is not allowed and requires an electronic filing. I was unaware of this requirement and am filing the form electronically after notification.
