Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The mission of the organization is to perpetuate the annual celebration and custom of Mardi Gras in the local community. Adults and children alike are encouraged to attend the parade to view the costumes and decorated floats. Local school bands and other marching groups are given an opportunity to participate and entertain the public.

	The organization selects the royal court that will represent the Krewe of Chronos to the public during the Mardi Gras season. Members work to produce a tableau and ball for the presentation of the King, Queen, and royal court. Work is also done on acquiring and producing the decorations, floats, carnival throws, carnival favors, and other souvenirs in anticipation of the annual Mardi Gras Krewe of Chronos parade.
