Part X : FIN48 Footnote The Association is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(12) of the Internal Revenue Code and is classified as other than a private foundation. An organization described in Section 501(c)(12) must receive at least 85% of its income from amounts collected from members for the sole purpose of meeting current and future losses and expenses.
