Briefly describe the organization’s mission: Collaborating with member hospitals since 1934, the New Hampshire Hospital Association provides leadership through advocacy, education and information in support of its member hospitals and health care delivery systems in delivering affordable, high quality health care to the patients and communities they serve.

	The New Hampshire Hospital Association is the leading voice for hospitals and health care delivery systems throughout the state, representing the interests of acute care and specialty hospitals on legislative and regulatory issues at a state and national level. The Association works with community partners, business leaders and state and federal stakeholders to preserve the economic and regulatory climates that support clinical excellence, health care transformation and the delivery of affordable health care.

	The New Hampshire Hospital Association works with hospitals and other community organizations across the care continuum to enhance access to affordable care and improve patient safety and quality of care for patients and their families in New Hampshire. We engage in collaborative initiatives with hospitals and health care partners that address a variety of health care priorities, including state and federal legislative and regulatory policy initiatives; behavioral health, substance use disorders; patient safety and quality of care; patient and family engagement; financial policy and reimbursement; access to health care coverage, health care workforce and many more.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	Members of the Organization shall be of three classes: 1. Institutional - comprised of hospitals located within the State of New Hampshire which are primarily for patients with acute diseases and conditions who stay a comparatively short time, and hospitals located within the State of New Hampshire which provide inpatient care for patients who require habilitation or rehabilitation for critical or chronic conditions in such fields as physical rehabilitation, oncology, neurology, substance abuse, psychiatry and similar specialties. 2. Corporate - organizations and business corporations interested in information about the New Hampshire Hospital Association and wishing to subscribe to general mailings and Association activities. 3. Personal - persons interested in the activities of the Association who are not affiliated with a healthcare facility or related industry.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	Each institutional member shall be entitled to one voting representative at any meeting of the Association. The members elect the trustees of the Board of Directors
