Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The entity is a non-profit organization consisting of dues-paying members who elect the governing body which makes decisions for the organization.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	Financial reports and/or statements are prepared by the outside accountant and given to the Finance Office, Adjutant and/or Commander for monthly review by the Executive Board and then the membership, so interested members are familiar with the entity's financial status. Upon completion of the tax return, preparer discusses with the signing officer and highlights any changes in reporting from that of the prior year's filing. Once approved and submitted, a copy of the return is kept on file for review by the membership or other interested parties, as requested.
