What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The purpose is assist and support veterans, their families and the communities that they live in. We do this by providing a service officer to help with VA paperwork and claims submission, providing direct monetary support when in need, and providing funds to the local community that supports veterans' programs. We provide a network of volunteers that assist with organizations in need in the community. We provide transportation for veterans in need for doctor and hospital appointments provided over 1857 volunteer hours to our community, drove over 3608 miles to provide our assistance.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Veteran Support: purchased 1440 flags at a cost of $950, drove 1705 mile and 507 volunteer hours placing flags on over 1400 veterans' graves in Trigg County and Land Between the Lakes National recreation area, provide Thanksgiving baskets to 61 veterans and family members cost $498, drove 471 miles and 81 volunteer hours, provided direct cash assistance to 5 veterans at a cost of $3097
