Schedule D, Part IV, Line 1a The land is used for the exempt purposes of the organization. One parcel of 12 acres is a baseball and soccer sports complex offered for useby the local high school and non-profit organizations. Another parcel, one-tenth acre, in the very center of the community on Main Street is offered for use by other civic organizations as a venue during town-wide public events. This latter parcel is also the fixed location of a 1932 popcorn wagon which the organization operates during summer weekends selling popcorn and beverages as a revenue program. The stated value of the land is based on the town tax assesssor's valuation.
Schedule D, Part V, Line 4 The intended use of the quasi-endowment fund is to sustain the ability of the organization to provide annual college scholarship awards to graduates of the Goffstown High School without total reliance upon annual operational revenue.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 The organization has members who (1) elect from their own ranks members of the governing body (directors and officers) and (2) approve significant decisions proposed by the governing body. Organizational members do not receive any share or profits of excess dues, and likwise would not receive any share of net assets upon the organization's dissolution.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a In May of each year the organizational members elect all officers for a term of 1 year, and elect one-half of the directors for a term of 2 years. The terms of office start on 1 July (following the May election) and end on 30 June of the appropriate year.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b The following governance decisions are subject to approval by organizational members: (1) the annual budget, (2) the annual election of officers and directors, and (3) any bylaws changes.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b At the regularly scheduled September or October Board meeting, all board members are provided the proposed 990 (with schedules) which was prepared by the Treasurer. Board member were allowed ten days to: (1) review the proposed filing, (2) ask for clarification from the Treasurer on any issue, and (3) provide an email to the entire Board with either (a) their approval to file, or (b) a request that an unresovled issue requires a review/decision at a Board Meeting. Based on the email responses, the President directs the 990 filing, or calls for a Board meeting to review possible changes and subsequent approval to file.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c At the first Board meeting after 1 July (of each year) a Conflict of Interest notice is provided to all Board members for their review, with the distribution documented in the Board minutes.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The organization announces on its website home page that the constitution, bylaws, conflict of interest policy, and latest filing of Form 990 are publicly available. The governance documents are accessible by links on the organization's website. The latest filing of Form 990 is noted as available upon a written request which provides the name and address of the requester so that a copy can be mailed to the requester.
