| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 1a | The Executive Committee is made up of the officers and appointed committee Chairs of the organization. It has the following powers:--Determine qualifications for membership and suspend or terminate a member for cause;--Approve any proposed change to the bylaws prior to being submitted to the membership for consideration. The Executive Committee is the final authority regarding interpretation of the bylaws;--Determine whether a vote may be taken at any regular meeting on any issue not changing the bylaws;--Determine annually the amount of membership dues, fees, and their due date(s);--Designate officers who may, as agents of the Organization, open, maintain, be signers, and close bank and investment accounts; and--Determine the Committees of the Organization as needed to maintain membership, programs, policies, procedures, conferences and other activities to meet the needs of the Organization. The duties of each committee will be determined by the President subject to approval by the Executive Committee. |
