What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE PURPOSE OF THE WASHTENAW COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY IS TO BRING DOCTORS OF MEDICINE LOCATED IN WASHTENAW COUNTY INTO ONE ORGANIZATION AND THROUGH IT AND SIMILAR COUNTY SOCIETIES TO FORM AND MAINTAIN THE MICHIGAN STATE MEDICAL SOCIETY. THE SOCIETY SHALL PROMOTE THE SCIENCE AND ART OF MEDICINE, THE BERRERMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, EXCHANGE VIEWS ON PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT, AND PARTICIPATE IN PROGRAMS OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC.
